Rosalpina is a charming, basic hotel set in a calm and quiet place. Roberto and his wife run this hotel in a very personal style and their service is great. Rooms are clean, have good beds and the bathrooms are fine. Swimming pool is nice. Breakfast -despite what others wrote- is fine here. Do not expect luxury but here do expect calm surroundings, excellent cold draught beer and the feeling that you are welcome here. The food they serve is honest but needs attention in terms of upgrading. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel was well kept and clean, with all the facilities in full working order. The proprietors were very friendly Although they didn’t speak English and we don’t speak Italian, there were no real problems in communication. We only stayed one night, as part of a driving tour in Europe, so it made a nice change from some of the corporate chain hotels we had used. Arriving in the evening, we ate at the hotel. The food was basic but was individually cooked and very good. The evening, sat on the terrace, with a bottle of their very reasonably priced wine, enjoying the views was restful. In all, very good value for the price. Good breakfast and ample free parking.
No lift but that was not a problem.

A friendly family run hotel. Staff very sensitive to food intollerances (they made a special menu for us). Stunning view on lake of Garda.
